We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a well established regional business law firm with cross office corporate and restructuring strength seeking a mid level Corporate Associate to join its Chicago office on a remote basis.

This role offers direct access to sophisticated middle market corporate matters for growth focused businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs, together with meaningful client contact from day one. You will work closely with senior partners in a compact team, gaining substantive ownership on transactions and a credible platform for long term advancement in a multi office environment.

The Role

\n
• Lead and support corporate transactions for mid market companies, investors, and entrepreneurial clients
\n
• Handle venture capital, startup financing, and merger and acquisition matters with increasing deal ownership
\n
• Draft and negotiate core corporate documentation, including organizational, governance, and transactional agreements
\n
• Advise clients on entity structure, risk allocation, and day to day corporate and commercial issues
\n
• Work directly with partners on strategy, client development, and cross practice projects
\n

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Corporate Associate with:

\n
• At least 8 years of corporate experience, including substantive work beyond initial entity formation
\n
• Experience in venture capital, startup transactions, and or merger and acquisition work
\n
• Admission in Illinois or clear eligibility to gain Illinois bar admission
\n
• A Bachelors Degree and a strong record of transactional training
\n
• Fully Remote
\n

Compensation & Benefits

\n
• $115,000 to $180,000 base salary, depending on experience
\n
• Reasonable 1,800 hour billable target supporting sustainable workload
\n
