Candlewood Suites Oak Harbor, part of the OH Complex alongside Best Western Plus Oak Harbor Hotel & Conference Center, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our team. Located in beautiful Oak Harbor, WA, our extended-stay hotel prides itself on providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest. What You'll Be Doing

As a Housekeeper, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our guests feel at home. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and suites to meet hotel standards.
• Making beds and changing linens, towels, and bedding.
• Sanitizing bathrooms and cleaning kitchen areas, appliances, counters, and sinks.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning all guest-room surfaces.
• Replenishing guest supplies and amenities.
• Inspecting rooms for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs and reporting issues to management.
• Properly handling and reporting lost-and-found items.
• Maintaining housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply areas.
• Following hotel safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Assisting with deep-cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Providing courteous and professional service to guests.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

• Takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail.
• Is dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Follows instructions and established procedures with a positive and professional attitude.
• Understands the importance of guest privacy and respectful treatment of guest property.
• Is comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting.

While previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, we are happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with us.

Physical Requirements

This is an active role that requires:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and pushing/pulling housekeeping equipment.
• Lifting and carrying supplies as needed.
