Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand prior to start date Certifications: Required certifications include BLS and PALS Must-Have: Experience in pediatric medical-surgical nursing with a patient ratio of 1:3. Description: The position requires a registered nurse dedicated to providing care for pediatric patients. Candidates must have experience in managing a variety of pediatric conditions. This includes care for respiratory patients and those requiring surgical interventions. The nurse will be responsible for the administration of medications and procedures specific to pediatric care. Weekly weekend shifts are required every third weekend. The position is for a pediatric medical-surgical unit with a focus on both pre-and post-operative care. The unit manages conditions such as infections, growth faltering, and other acute issues in pediatrics. Interdisciplinary support is provided for complex cases, ensuring a collaborative care approach. The nurse will work on a team that involves coordination with various health professionals.
