This facility holds a Level IV trauma designation and provides urological call coverage services within an established clinical environment. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and administrative support systems to facilitate coordinated urological patient management. Appropriate on-site resources are in place to support clinicians throughout each assigned coverage period.
About the Facility LocationClinicians on assignment will find access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Lady Bird Lake, a 416-acre reservoir, offers opportunities for paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, and biking, while the 350-acre Zilker Park is home to Barton Springs Pool, a natural spring-fed pool. Additional attractions include the Texas State Capitol, local barbecue and Tex-Mex dining, a brewery scene, and day trip destinations such as Enchanted Rock and Hamilton Pool, providing clinicians with diverse options during time away from clinical duties.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide general urological call coverage in an ER setting on an on-site basis, with 24-hour shifts running from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on an ongoing basis beginning in November. Clinicians will manage general urological cases across all age groups; no trauma coverage is required as part of this assignment. Call coverage is a required component of this position, and on-site availability must be maintained throughout all designated coverage periods. Board certification in Urology is negotiable for consideration.
